After the Layoff I’m Still in Love with You

Just a quick thought about our world of unemployment. Like many of you after a couple of not so good financial moments, I closed my company and returned to the world of weekly paychecks. I am a part of the trend, making a little, a lot less, but knowing when it will arrive. And I am many years from digging out financially, but I will!

Do I miss the adventure? Yes. The important thing to remember is that a layoff is a way station on the road of your career. Take the blessing, learn and live on.

My family and friends have always made it clear that after the layoff, they’re still in love with me, as is God and me. Don’t let anyone or anything shake your sense of worth.
